Milam, who has taught for three years in the NIT program, recently received the Ningbo municipal government’s Camellia Prize, which honors foreign experts working in the city who have made significant contributions to its social and economic development.
The partnership between UIndy and NIT, part of Zhejiang University, allows Chinese students to obtain a UIndy degree in business or English. Many students complete their degrees at the Indianapolis campus after their first two years at NIT.
